Veteran homelessness is still a problem in Minnesota - But we can solve it.
We can start by providing 38 units of housing at the Cottages of Anoka. That along with other initiatives around the state can help those who've served our country get back on their feet and back in our community. As a retired sergeant major, Jerry Newton understands veterans and their issues. He has been a tireless advocate for Minnesota veterans in the state legislature. He authored the bill which gave disabled vets and their caregivers free public transport and is always fighting to give veterans the support they deserve.
